THE SHOW

Torn is the theatrical apotheosis of John Cassavetes' revolutionary work in independent film. The script, written by Ramen Cromwell and Blake Goddard, is one half of the play's engine. It is read once and then discarded. The other half of the engine is "The Process" developed by director David Lee. This is what we know: Scott Blume, a prodigy restaurateur seemingly dies of cancer at the tender age of 30. Scott's closest group of friends reunites for the first time since college to celebrate the love that he introduced them to. Little does anyone know that in his death, Scott leaves a mark that will sear itself into the hearts of his dearest friends forever.
